Faces of Hope Foundation provides financial assistance and support for individuals suffering with life threatening illness, specifically cancer. As individuals we are aware of the costly exercise and strain that is put on the patient and family as a result of treatment required to alleviate symptoms. The costs of oncology treatment being as high as they are, the Foundation aims to relieve some of the financial burden required to keep patients alive.

The Blubird shopping centre will be hosting an amazing evening that will give hope to individuals that are in need of financial assistance with cancer
treatment. Biodegradable Lanterns are available for sale at R60 each. These can be written on and this will give you an opportunity to dedicate your lantern to a cancer sufferer, in memory of someone lost to cancer or to write a message of hope. Lanterns can be purchased from now until the night of event.

Greetings to all of you gathered there for this very special event. The story of The Ultimate Gift has become more than a book or even a movie. It has become a movement that literally has impacted people all around the world. I am humbled to say that grade school children and post-doctoral students have benefited from the message. Homeless people and billionaires have found principles they can take away and apply in their daily lives. I’m hoping after you experience the story of The Ultimate Gift, you will do two things. First, find a part of the message that you can apply to your life; and secondly, find someone to share this message with. I wish I could be with you there, in person, but somehow through this message I feel we are together.

March Hare: Careful, she’s stark ravin’ mad!
Alice: But it’s your silly riddle. You just said…
Mad Hatter: Easy, don’t get excited!
March Hare: How about a nice cup of tea?
Alice: “Have a cup of tea,” indeed!

Mad Hatter: Well that’s an idea?
Alice: What’s an idea?

Mad Hatter: To have a cup of tea… a Mad Tea Party!
